He is a very smart student and has lots of friends who doesn't know of his situation. He told me about his "fetish" one morning and I asked if he wanted to see someone about this, he declined. So this is a moral question. Shall I force him to talk to someone or let him wear and wet diapers? Thanks

This is really outside my area of expertise. I would recommend that you make an appointment with a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of adolescent fetishes. You can contact the Australian Psychological Society directly https://www.psychology.org.au, who will be able to recommend someone appropriate. Given your son’s reluctance to seek treatment it would be best if you speak with the psychologist on your own first so they can best guide you in how to manage the situation so that it does not impact negatively on your son. The fact that your son is comfortable talking to you about this is a true testament to the quality and openness of your relationship so you really do not want to do anything that will jeopardise this. AI wish you all the very best. Regards, Dr Cathrine
